A few thoughts here and there.

Tonight was the first time I've been able to sit down and really work in my studio since we completed it. It feels good. Really good. Especially with several projects on the horizon.

I've been working on ideas for some album artwork over the past week. Some of the subject matter falls into the category of things I've never even thought about drawing before and some of it is right up my alley. I like a good challenge.

It seems as though we've been building a small community of friends here in Cleveland Heights which excites me. And not just because we finally have more people to play Settlers of Catan with.

Heather Lende's If You Lived Here I'd Know Your Name is my current read. Just throwing more fuel on the fire that is my desire to live in a cabin in Alaska.

Oh, and if you watch anything on Netflix this week, make sure it's FOODMATTERS.

  1. I'm so happy to hear that things are going well in the new house! Also... I have that sweater and I never wear it because it doesn't look as cute as it does on you! Dang, I may just have to try it out again

  3. I am growing out my hair. It's about shoulder length, I have it pinned up in the picture. Long hair irritates me, but every once in a while I feel the need to try it again.

Foodmatters is a documentary on the importance of nutrition and using nutrition to fight health problems.

  5. My husband just shared your blog with me. It's great! You should definitely explore the Alaska Cabin Living dream. We live in a cabin here in Fairbanks. It's been a fun adventure!

  6. Thanks! It's absolutely something that I want to experience someday. Even if it's only for a couple of weeks. But mostly I want to see the auroras.
